Are you using the correct engine coolant? Perhaps a GM DexCool coolant should be used.
1; Hoses? Could be Cracked Inside as well as out restricting coolant flow.

2; Coolant mix should be 50-50 Clean Water %26amp; Anti-freeze.

3; Remove the Radiator Cap (engine %26amp; Radiator Cool) Do you see a reddish foam under the car (Transmission Cooler Lines in Radiator Leaking), Do you Smell Exhuast, engine running (Cracked Head Gasket). Rusted Cap will not allow Fluid to Flow to Overflow tank when Needed or back to the Radiator.

4; Engine running, A/C fan goes on %26amp; off with A/C turned on %26amp; off? Radiator comes on when engine is warm, off when cool? If not check Fuses, Relays %26amp; Sensors.

5; Did you Boil/Flush The cooling System after Installing the New Radiator? Engine Galies could be clogged!
Check to see if the coolant lines are working properly or the mabey its a problem with the oil system? Oil plays a part in cooling the motor too.
could be a partial blockage in the engine block water jackets, or maybe the wrong thermostat
