sorry new chevys gauges are really terrible quality, especially in their new pickups that have the vacuum gauge on the airbox what peices of crap. today at work i looked at the vacuum gauge showing how well the air is being pulled through the air filter, then i opened up the cover and couldnt believe that pickup could even run with such a dirty filter. my point being dont worry about replacing your thermostat as long as you keep on top of having full coolant theres gonna be no worries of overheating, because gauges on new vehicles especially chevy are almost useless
