Changed thermostat and heater core but still no heat.Any answers guys?

1998 Chrysler Concorde .I bought the parts and had a mechanic put it in. And he said that it would be more money for him to see what is the problem. Can anyone help me on what could be the problem?

First of all I would find a different mechanic. He should have checked it out before he installed the parts and probably charged you a fortune. Also it wouldn't have hurt him to check it out after it didn't work.

Water pump, heater control valve, blocked pipe ?
did he purge you cooling system you may have air in it?are the heater hoses hooked up right, some are one way, just some ideas on why its not putting out heat for you.
water pump
this is mainly due to blocked hoses or blocked heater radiator inside the dashboard also heater valve and thermostat should be checked.
after all that and still no heat? did he bleed the air out of the cooling system? it also could be the water pump. after you warm the car up good then feel both heater hoses to see if both are hot. if not then the air needs to be bled out.
