hey guys, i gotta change the thermostat on my trans am, where is it? is it something i can easily do myself or should i get someone else to do it? its for my coolant system, thanks
Where is the thermostat on a 95 trans am v8?
If you have the LT1 V8, the thermostat is located on top of the water pump
If you have the LS1 V8, follow the upper radiator hose to where it connects to the top of the intake manifold. This is where the thermostat housing is located in all LS1 models

Follow the top radiator hose to a housing on your engine. The thermostat should be in there.
