What is the easiest way to change the thermostat on a 2006 Dodge Charger 3.5L V-6?
Not the easiest but the only way is to take off the thermostat housing and change the thermostat, noticing how it's positioned. Use sealant on both sides of the gasket, and put the thermostat housing back on.
Are you sure you have a thermostat problem? The only thing the thermostat does it to delay the coolant from going to the radiator until the engine warms up. Once the engine warms up, the thermostat usually stays open until you shut the car off. Your fan regulates the engine temperature, not the thermostat.
