When the vehicle is warmed up, shut the vehicle off and feel the radiator, it should be informally warm from top to bottom. If there is quite a difference in temp from top to bottom, you have a radiator that is plugged.
I have a kia sportage and it keeps getting hot, we changed thermostat, and fan cluch?
may be time to look at the water pump.

sounds like a plugged radiator or plugged hose from the siphon tube
Some things to consider.. You may need to have the radiator cleaned and flushed. You may have a failing water pump..Also check your radiator hose's they may be collapsing as the vehicle heats up..I would suggest that you have the vehicle checked by a reputable mechanic.
Does it have enough coolant in it? These Kia Sportages have a really poorly designed draincock for the radiator. Make sure it's not losing any coolant from there.
